The second generation of Mechafin Push-Pull Systems, with the recognizable name MEXDRIVE, is now available. The big advantage of this new unit is the fact that the hose package can be exchanged quickly and easily via a Euro central connection.

Push-pull welding torches are often used when there are long distances in the wire feeding line. Especially for special requirements like aluminium welding and the use of thin wires. They allow a trouble-free and constant wire feed, even with longer hose packages. Push-Pull systems are equipped with synchronized wire feeders, which ensure highly precise wire feeding.

The disadvantage of these products is in the hand of the welder. A Push-Pull welding torch is clearly at a disadvantage compared to a conventional welding torch in terms of weight and handling. Therefore Mechafin AG has removed the Push-Pull unit from the welding torches. The push-pull unit from Mechafin is an intermediate wirefeeder unit to which any conventional welding torch can be connected. This gives the welder his accustomed freedom and mobility and thus ensures an optimal welding result. Together with the control unit from Mechafin, the Mechafin Push-Pull-System can be connected to almost every known MIG-MAG welding machine. The control unit synchronizes the wire feed unit of the welding machine and the push-pull system.

The main areas of application of the Mechafin Push-Pull System are, among others, shipyards, container manufacturers, as well as vehicle and wagon construction. Everywhere where exact and constant wire feeding over longer distances is indispensable. The second generation of Mechafin systems, called MEXDRIVE, is now available. Of course, the advantages known from the first generation have been retained. Such as maximum cost efficiency, as the system can be connected to an existing installation, optimum service life, as the torch can be replaced quickly and easily as before, precise synchronization thanks to the specially developed control unit.
